It is estimated that 50-70% of the total cost of medical care each year is attributed directly to:

1) Obesity accounts for 12% of all claims submitted with 60% of the population exceeding the body/mass index;

2) Tobacco Use accounts for another 15% of all claims submitted and lung cancer is still the leading cause of death in the US;

3) Sedentary life style accounts for 25% of claims and 60% of the population have no regular physical activity.
