Health Insurance

Health Insurance -offer insurance against the financial implications associated with health or medical problems encountered according to the terms of the policy.  A premium is paid by the policyholder to the insurance company and the heath insurance carrier makes payments for any claims covered by the terms of the plan.  Examples include Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO), Point of Service (POS) and Indemnity Plans.  This is in contrast to Health Care Coverage.
